Contract Types are used to identify the type of contract your customer has signed. Using contracts is an optional feature.
Contract types can be for:
- New Installations
- System Upgrades
- Maintenance Agreements
- Monitoring Agreements
- Inspection Agreements
When a contract is created for a customer, it may be saved at the Customer level or at the Site level.
Each Contract Type allows a user to specify details and defaults related to the type. Setting up defaults expedites the data entry process.

- Types of Systems for which the contract could be used
- Labor Warranty Type
- Parts Warranty Type
- RMR
- Default monthly RMR Rate
- Default billing frequency
