If a customer System is monitored by your company or a third-party provider, and you create a zone list for the monitored system, you may link a zone to a responding Authority (AHJ).
Authority is a field on the System / Zone setup form. Linking an Authority to a zone is optional. You may setup System Zones and the Authority linked to the corresponding zone is for internal information and reporting.
