To add a new Warranty Type, from the main menu, arrive at the Warranty Types setup with this path: Setup > Operations > Warranty Types.
The Warranty Types list is displayed. Click the Add Warranty Type button at the upper left of the grid.
The Edit Warranty Type form is displayed. There are two data entry fields on this form, and both fields are required. Each data entry field is described below.
- Name: Type in a description for the warranty code. Maximum of 25 characters.
- Warranty Length: Type in the number of days for the warranty code.
When finished, click the Save button at the bottom of the form.
